Who, on average, gets a higher salary?
A computer programmer, or game designer? I’m going to MSB (Minnesota School of Business) and I’m taking computer programming and game design. In two years I will most likely pick one of the two as a profession, and was just wondering which of them might pay more.
Entry level programmers do coding. Entry level game designers fetch coffee.
“Game design” consists of many different fields: game theory, human psychology, fine arts, graphics design, a little bit of novelist, systems analyst, programmer. One person doesn’t do it all, it’s done by a team.
Decide where your strengths are – the last great analytical artist was Leonardo da Vinci – we’re a few hundred years from the next one – the combination is that rare.
